During setup, Elira — setup help sits at the bottom of your dashboard. It works for charter and private schools, on a free pilot or a paid plan.
Ask about your next step
Open the button. Elira greets your school and suggests questions from your next unfinished steps. She can see which setup steps are done, missing, or waiting on someone else. She answers from those steps and these guides, and links to where you can finish the step. If the guides do not answer your question, she says so.
Watch a video
When your question matches a tutorial for your school's product, the reply includes a video card. Press it to watch on this page. The support hub also suggests matching videos above guide search results. No video starts before you choose to watch it.
Reach our team
Type your setup question, then press Send to our team. Your conversation's topic summaries and current setup checklist go into our support inbox, under your signed-in email. The chat confirms a ticket only after it has been saved. Our team can follow up by email; reply to a confirmation email if you receive one to add details. There is no promised response time.
Keep student names, family records and passwords out of this chat. Setup questions are reduced to known topic summaries before they leave your browser; the team receives those summaries, not the original wording. Use the support contact form if you need to explain a setup issue the topics do not cover, and keep that message free of family data too.
A quiet reminder
If setup is unfinished and you have not opened the widget, it may show “If you need any help, I'm here.” after two minutes in a dashboard visit. It waits while you work in a form, appears at most once in that tab's signed-in visit, and can be dismissed. Opening help or dismissing the reminder stops further reminders for that visit.
After setup
The widget disappears when setup is complete or your school has gone live. Support stays available. If your school has paused AI, the guides and Send to our team still work; Elira does not call the model.
