Walkthrough: Family answers
Families can say they accept or decline and confirm their choice. They can ask questions along the way.
What families get
Families can say they accept or decline and confirm their choice. They can ask questions along the way.
What you do
Answer questions sent to the office. Check unclear replies before recording the family’s decision.
What Elira never does
Elira never guesses a school answer or treats an unclear reply as a decision.
The rule
Families can say accept or decline in words, then confirm the choice once. The secure family response records the decision. Questions use approved school answers; an unknown answer becomes an office task.
Channels and timing
A confirmed acceptance moves the student to Paperwork. A confirmed decline closes the offer. Questions are answered when eligible; outgoing messages still follow contact hours.
What can hold it
The current offer, verified guardian-child relationship and current secure response link must match. Ambiguous replies require review; unknown school facts cannot become an automatic answer.
What creates staff work
Staff handle unclear choices, contact mismatches and questions without an approved answer.
