Families get updates about their place on the school’s waitlist.

What you do

Import the school list. Check names, grades and the order supplied by your school. Fix any records marked for review.

What Elira never does

Elira never invents a rank or promises a seat.

The rule

Import the school list and keep the school-supplied rank. A moved-up text requires an improvement of at least 5 places and at least 7 days since the last notice. Elira does not invent a rank.

Channels and timing

Importing sends nothing. Eligible waitlist updates use text and email during school contact hours; the moved-up text is limited to once per 7 days.

What can hold it

School review must be less than 26 hours old. Missing or tied school ranks, source conflicts, contact verification, consent, pauses and open staff work can hold contact.

What creates staff work

Staff resolve import conflicts and missing or tied ranks before a seat is allocated.
