What families get
Families get the school’s seat offer by text and email. Elira can follow up by phone when the school has allowed it.
What you do
Check the offer and available seat. Review replies or any request Elira sends to the office.
What Elira never does
Elira never releases a seat because a family did not reply.
The rule
The school’s auto-offer switch controls automatic seat allocation. An offer needs available capacity and the next eligible school-ranked student. Turning it on does not grant permission to send messages.
Channels and timing
Offer text and email begin when eligible. The offer call is due on day 2 if the family has not answered; later follow-ups follow the approved offer plan.
What can hold it
A current school-issued offer, school review less than 26 hours old, approved workflow, verified guardian, consent, available seat and contact hours are required. A response or open staff task can hold follow-up.
What creates staff work
Staff resolve capacity or rank uncertainty, family replies and the no-response review checkpoint. Staff decide whether to release a seat.
